Manshil Krishna is one of New Zealand’s Top 25 Mortgage Brokers (NZ Adviser Awards) and the strategist behind the Benchmark Standard — a client-first philosophy that is redefining what mortgage advice should look like in New Zealand.
With over 15 years in the finance sector, including senior roles at three of the big four banks, Manshil has worked across retail, business, private, and commercial divisions. This depth of experience allows him to design lending strategies that go far beyond rates creating structures that give clients clarity today and confidence for tomorrow.
As the founder of Benchmark Mortgages, Manshil has led the firm’s rapid rise into one of the country’s leading boutique brokerages. His approach is simple but powerful: cut through jargon, anticipate market shifts, and deliver outcomes that stand the test of time.
Clients value his ability to translate complex financial realities into clear, actionable strategies. They come away not just with a mortgage, but with a plan a sense of certainty in a market where others only offer options.
Outside of work, Manshil keeps perspective through family, football, hiking, and travelling often returning to Fiji, where he grew up. These roots keep him grounded, approachable, and deeply connected to the people he serves.
